My work has always been spontaneous and created using dynamic brushwork, I try to capture the character and soul of the objects I portray. My current Sneaker paintings show the wonderful designs that have become classic Icons and objects of desire for fans and collectors alike. I am immortalising these wonderful Sneakers which are mass produced in reality, and giving them an individualism which is unique and exclusive. The energy and excitement of the sports are visualised in the explosive creation of the paintings, which create a wonderful contrast to the static image painted expressively.
